As we complete the 6th week of this State of Emergency due to COVID-19, I hope you and your families are keeping safe. Once again, I thank everyone for their continued commitment and hard work.
We are seeing some good Federal and Provincial relief programs coming together and we continue to work towards one of our defined goals -bringing back all staff that was temporarily laid off as soon as possible. Our Senior Management team is working around the clock and staying in constant communication by having conference calls every other day to discuss potential opportunities, issues, and challenges.
To any of our staff who are currently on lay-off and concerned if they will still have a job. The answer is yes. We will overcome this challenge and come out stronger than ever. Current indications from our government suggest that, by the May 2-4 weekend, the province will be reopened. Luckily, Joseph and most of our customers are deemed essential services and the feedback from our sales team is our customers are gearing up and we will be busy in the next couple of weeks.
Lastly, as we are asked to maintain “Social Distancing” we are renaming this to “Physical Distancing” as we should be more social now than ever. Please feel free to call or text me or anyone of our Management team if you have any questions, concerns or just want to say hi. We are available and definitely want to hear from you. I actually need to physically distance myself from my refrigerator.
Be well, stay well and eat well,
